CPR & FIRST AID CLASSES


Class size is limited and on a first come first serve basis. 

Students need to pre-register and pre-pay 8 days prior to the class to reserve a space.

The fee is non-refundable if the student does not provide 48 hour cancellation notice.

Students are responsible for ensuring class certifications will fulfill employer or other requirements.
Accommodations can be made for employer groups.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS and PALS and has developed instructional materials
for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not  represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. 
Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of  fees needed for AHA course material does not represent income to the Association.

Heartsaver Automated External Defibrillation (AED)

This course covers the use of automated external defibrillators. This class is suitable for those who have AED's in the workplace and have a duty to respond due to regulatory or job requirements. AED classes are scheduled upon request.

Healthcare Provider CPR

This course covers infant, child, and adult CPR, including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask. Students learn to recognize warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulties in children as well as procedures for administering aid to choking victims.  This program also covers automated external defibrillation (AED) use. Upon completion of the course, students receive a BLS for Healthcare Providers card that is valid for two years from the date of issue. This class is suitable for EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, nurses, dentist, and those who must have certified credentials.

Heartsaver First Aid

This course teaches rescuers to effectively treat ill or injured persons in the critical first minutes until emergency medical services personnel arrive. Upon completion of this course, students receive a Basic First Aid card that is valid for two years from the date of issue. This class is suitable for those who have a duty to respond due to regulatory or job requirements.

Heartsaver CPR                                           

This course covers infant, child, and adult CPR as well as procedures for administering aid to choking victims. Students learn to recognize warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulties in children. This program teaches rescue breathing with and without the use of barrier devices. Upon completion of the course, students receive a Heartsaver CPR card that is valid for two years from the date of issue. This class is suitable for those who have a duty to respond due to regulatory or job requirements.
